English Porcelain Cups by artist Kim Cheselka
These thin and delicate cups are first wheel-thrown, then hand pinched to egg shell thin and rimmed with a delicate black line.
"Objects made from porcelain differ from stoneware in many ways, but the most obvious difference lies in the clay's ability, when thin, to be translucent. I love this aspect of the material and in my porcelain pieces I am constantly working towards that goal -creating translucent, elegant, graceful objects." – Kim Cheselka
Approximate size: 2.25" tall x 3.25" in diameter
Note: as each piece is hand made variations in size, color and texture will occur
